Tag question এর যত সহজ নিয়ম (Part-1)
Tag question (ট্যাগ কোশ্চেন) ইংরেজী গ্রামারের তুলনামূলক সহজ একটি বিষয় । কোন কথার শেষে কোন সমর্থন সূচক প্রশ্ন যোগ করাকেই ট্যাগ কোশ্চেন বলে । Tag question নিয়ে শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে যে ভয় কাজ করে তা দূর করার জন্য আমরা Tag question এর নিয়মগুলো সহজভাবে উপস্থাপন করার চেষ্টা করেছি । আশা করি এগুলো শিক্ষার্থীদের কাজে লাগবে ।
Tag question এর যত সহজ নিয়ম
Tag question কি : Tag শব্দের অর্থ, জুড়ে দেওয়া। কথা বলার সময় Statement এর শেষে যে একটি সমর্থন সূচক প্রশ্ন সংযোগ করা হয় তাকে Tag question বলে।
যেমন : 
You are Anas, aren’t you ?
Tag Question গঠন : Statement এর পর একটি কমা বসবে + সাহায্যকারী verb বসবে + Statement এর subject এর pronoun বসবে + প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন বসবে।
যেমন : Ramik is a good student, isn’t he?
| Statement যদি Affirmative হয়
It is cold. |
তাহলে Tag হবে negative
isn’t it ? |
| Statement যদি negative হয়
It is not cold. |
তাহলে Tag হবে Affirmative
Is it ? |
Negative constrictive from of different Auxiliaries
| is not = isn’t | dare not = daren’t | ought not = oughtn’t | do not = don’t |
| are not = aren’t | has not = hasn’t | were not = weren’t | did not = didn’t |
| was not = wasn’t | must not = mustn’t | have not = haven’t | does not = doesn’t |
| had not = hadn’t | need not = needn’t | might not = mightn’t | could not = couldn’t |
ব্যাতিক্রম
am + not = aren’t / ain’t , can + not = can’t , will + not = won’t , shall+ not= shan’t , may+ not = mightn’t
নিম্নের ছক অনুযায়ী মূল অংশের subject এর pronoun লিখতে হবে

* Everyone, anyone, none, nobody, no one – এগুলো যদি Statement এ subject হিসাবে আসে তাহলে tag question এর pronoun হিসাবে they বসে তাই সাহায্যকারী verb টি plural হয়|
যেমন: Anyone is allowed, aren’t they?
